Salem Access Television Art Exhibit
Featuring Tommy Gagnon – November 3rd through December 2011 – EXTENDED TO JANUARY 2012
Salem Access TV or SATV will be hosting Tommy Gagnon as its featured artist during November through December 2011. the exhibit is free to all, come down to the television station located at 285 Derby St. Salem, MA to view the artwork.

Salem Access Television is a non-profit media center since 1994 SATV has been offering training, equipment, and support in television. Salem Access TV’s goal is to train people of Salem to develop their own television programming as well as support other forms of art such as hosting local artist and featuring their artwork of all kinds. About the artist:
Tommy Gagnon has a long history with art, growing up family members supported his passion to create. Over the last few years Tommy has worked on various art projects such as the Salem Willows Barrier art Project the S.W.B.A. is a public art installation located at the Salem Willows park that includes 10 small murals each displaying what Salem has to offer. Recently Tommy’s artwork has been on exhibit at various locations around the city. Businesses featured his paintings and prints and the local theater has exhibited his work such as the “Cinema Salem Art Exhibit” that recently ended this past September and of course the “SATV” art Exhibit Nov.-Dec. 2011. Tommy creates Geometric designs, Pattern paintings, Urban/Street art on canvas and is always trying new ways to express his vision for his artwork. All are welcome please come and see the SATV art show, you can also find a guest book where you can leave a comment or write anything you wish to the artist as well as pick up a print out that has thumbnails of each piece with description and details about each work of art!
The SATV art show will feature a variety of artwork from Tommy that will interest every one of all ages and background. Acrylic paint, oil paint, pastel chalk and other mediums have been used to create the artwork. Additionally if you didn’t have a chance to see the “Cinema Salem” exhibit some of the artwork from that show will also be on display along with new paintings created by the artist.
